Before I started this adventure, I used to be pretty much active on Goodreads. I updated every book I read since I restarted with new account (old one was hacked with my facebook account). But I must admit that no matter how much I dare to consider myself as a bookworm, I would only give myself goal in numbers of books, not books specifically. So, this is actually my first time of making an official list!
Knowing myself, I will stick only on 5 books! I know that I will stumble upon many other books in library, book fairs, or just browsing trough my friend's or even my own shelf, which still contains big ~to read~ list. I have already made an deal with myself that my bank account is going to face the breakdown, but for me, any book is big investment s I am not going to fall in a grief because of the resources.
And, ta - daaaa!!! The list is here:

I know that many people are waiting for the film on the big screen, including me, but I stick to read the book first. And I like to never compare, one of the tendency I got from the college. But still I like to see director's point of view.
Three key words that immediately turned me on are: Insight of post - apocalyptic steampunk London. I can't wait to start.

Paris. Mystery. Magic... okay...I'm hooked already. This trailer speaks more than I can in this paragraph.

To be completely honest, I haven't met with Laura Purcell's work (unavailable in Croatia) but I have heard a lot about her. And recently, I'm in some weird mood for victorian/gothic themed novel. An elements of crime and phrenology is very catchy for me in this case. Can't wait to put it in my basket, delivery, reading and then - reviewwwwww

I have weird fetish for old Slavic folk tales, so this one set in Russian winter (wonderland) seems like something I really need at this moment. I read so many good reviews (life is too short for boring books), so I hope it won't let me down.

Victorian again. Young woman looking for justice is facing secrets and mystery on her own way to achieve it...
Now, I have finally set myself one little goal. 2019. is going to be very intense book reading year.
